PeepThisBeat - Episode 1

Ain't NO Party like a PeepThis Party!

So the Frankenstorm is coming and I wish I could blame it on the closing of the Armory.  Instead I can only point fingers at Promoters with bad intentions and shoty event management plans.  We are extremely saddened by the chain of events that have put our beloved Washington Ave Armory in darkness.  We are fully supportive of the Armory staff for their hard work proceeding these events. I heard that they have completely restructured their security procedures and staff.  I just hope that the city and the Armory can learn from these mistakes.  I also wish that the media and city officials can learn to not generalize every EDM show as a Rave or let's get black out drunk party.  There are great local promoters like PeepThis, U Is Nation, Unity, Avid, Street Cats, etc.... that put on quality MUSIC driven events that have been going on incident free for years.

Since last Friday's Masquerave was postponed to November 30th we here at PeepThis decided to host our own Halloween style House Party!  So we called our Peeps and quickly had Dj's, Dancers, and Fans roaring to release their rage.  We swept out our basement and set up my colossal QSC system along with Lasers, LED's, and of course some Black Lights.  Upstairs we had a living room stage with a perfect wood floor for all of the shufflers.

Rome Thrasher

Dj Rome Thrasher got the basement pumping with some heavy electro and Progressive house that had us all jumping around the room.  As more Peeps rolled into JD's used car lot we were sure to be courteous to our neighbors so we kept the weirdness inside and on the back porch lol.

Before we knew it the place was packed with beautiful dancers and even shuffling penguins!  Dj Hazeyy setup his CDJ's and started slamming the upstairs with some FAT beats.

Even some of our favorite artists started showing up!  Like Tony Colasurdo and Kayla Sacco.  They started filming away as the nightly shenanigans ensued   With all of our Show Fam in the building the Vibe was building beautifully.  It was apparent that we were all heart broken to not be at Masquerave but we def. needed a night to unwind and chill VIP style.  Thank you to all that came out!  It's because of all our Peeps that we keep doing what we do.

PeepThis NYC Beat

What's going on my Peeps?  If you didn't see the madness that went down at Oneonta Masquerave then  I hope you saw the craziness that was Unity 8 on Friday Oct 12th hosted by the infamous Eric David.  This show has become the staple of local talent and extreme fans.  The night is always surrounded by die hard enthusiasts that are there solely to dance the night away.  If you have never seen a Unity event at the Fuze Box in Albany then I suggest you PeepThis ASAP!

The real highlight of our weekend was going down to Webster Hall in Manhattan NY.  This Venue has hosted some of the largest EDM shows to ever come through NY.  Our good friends at girls & boys showed us an amazing night amongst the NYC ravers.

Everyone was eagerly awaiting the doors to be opened.  Finally at midnight the masqueravers started flooding in.  Kido and TrevMunz started off the night with some big room bangers.  The diverse crowd in crazy masks started warming up as PeepThis gogo started hooping and putting up their hands in the shape of a heart.  Free masks were being supplied to everyone that entered into the freak show that was Webster Hall.

Mike Chach
Webster Residents Mike Chach and  Dj Jess took the stage as the night climaxed into a night of Bass and live art.  The fire performers, aerialist, and dancers lit up the ballroom stages of Webster Hall.  Mike Chach hypnatized the crowd with a seductive energizing breakdown.  The aerialist prepared themselves to present a breathtaking performance of suspended joy that caught the attention of the whole room.  VIP big wigs and staff alike had to pause to take in the beauty of the night.

Kloud9 FINALLY showed up and brought the crowd down with some funky beats and future bass that left the room shaking.  PeepThis gogo was of coure there the whole night showing love to all the Peeps.

This was the third of four stops of the Masquerave "City Tour".  We have our last installment coming up October 26th @ Washington Avenue Armory.

We'd like to give a special thanks to U IS Nation for without them this Masquerave Tour would not be possible.
